Watermark Image
Use Watermark Image, review the result, and keep the original until the output is checked.
How to use Watermark Image
- Select the photos - this one accepts a batch, so one setting can mark every file.
- Switch Watermark Type between Text and Image, then fill in the mark and its font, colour and size.
- Set Opacity so the watermark reads without covering the subject, then drag the mark on the preview or use Position; the download uses the same spot you see.
- Run the batch - one file downloads directly, several arrive in a watermarked_images.zip folder.
What Watermark Image actually does to your file
The mark is composited into the pixels at export, so it is not a layer anyone can peel off later - and it is not protection either, since a crop or a rebuild removes it. Output keeps your file's own size and container: a 1200x900 transparent PNG came back as a 1200x900 PNG with its alpha intact, and a 5000x3000 PNG was capped to 4096x2457 because browsers refuse to draw larger canvases. Images the browser cannot re-encode, such as animated GIF, are flattened to JPEG and renamed to match, and files that cannot be decoded at all are listed as skipped instead of quietly dropped.
Watermark Image FAQ
What does Watermark Image do?
Add text or image watermarks to supported photos. Configure the mark, review each result, and download the processed images.
Which files work with Watermark Image?
This category commonly supports JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, and SVG. Use the accepted file types shown in the uploader, because support varies by browser and by the engine behind each tool.
Can I remove a watermark from a file?
Only if you own the source or have permission to edit it. Removal tools patch the pixels around the mark and cannot restore what was covered, so keep the unwatermarked original.
Will my original file be changed?
No. The work is done on a copy in this tab by the canvas and the codecs built into your browser, and the result arrives as a separate download, so your original is still there if you need it.
How is my file processed?
It is not uploaded. The processing is done locally by the canvas and the codecs built into your browser, so the practical ceiling is your device's memory and the limit shown beside the uploader - no queue, no account, no copy on a server.
Is the Watermark Image free?
Yes. The Watermark Image is free with no trial limit, subscription, or watermark on downloads. You can use it for personal and commercial projects without creating an account.
