Use PDF to Image, review the result, and keep the original until the output is checked.
How to use PDF to Image
- Select PDF Files and load one or more documents.
- Pick Image Format - PNG, JPEG or WebP - and an Image Quality level; PNG ignores quality and keeps full fidelity.
- Resize if you need to with Custom Dimensions or one of the preset buttons, and use Grayscale, Invert Colors or Background Color for a flat look.
- Optionally enter a Page Range like 1-3, 5, keep Download as ZIP ticked, then press Convert to Images.
What PDF to Image actually does to your file
Each page is drawn to an image at roughly twice screen resolution, which is comfortable on screen and acceptable for a slide, but it is not a print-ready export and the words in it are no longer text - they cannot be selected, searched or edited. Leave ZIP on: without it every page is a separate download and the browser blocks all but the first. Files come out as <name>_page_1.png and friends inside <name>_images.zip. Page size and DPI are not exposed on this page, so a higher-resolution need is better served by printing to PDF from a reader.
PDF to Image FAQ
What does PDF to Image do?
Convert pages from a supported PDF into image files. Review the available output options and download the converted result.
Which files work with PDF to Image?
It takes a PDF page and returns a JPG or PNG image. The exact types and per-file limit are shown beside the controls.
Is conversion lossless?
Only when the target format can hold everything the source had. Converting to a lossy format, or to a format with fewer features, cannot be undone, so keep the original file.
Will my original file be changed?
No. The work is done on a copy in this tab by pdf.js and pdf-lib, and the result arrives as a separate download, so your original is still there if you need it.
How is my file processed?
It is not uploaded. The processing is done locally by pdf.js and pdf-lib, so the practical ceiling is your device's memory and the limit shown beside the uploader - no queue, no account, no copy on a server.
Is the PDF to Image free?
Yes. The PDF to Image is free with no trial limit, subscription, or watermark on downloads. You can use it for personal and commercial projects without creating an account.
